One of the highlights of our year, Bookkisa is Back! This is our fifth year buying from Ture Waji (aka 'The King of Guji') and Sookoo Coffee. A naturally processed lot, cherry is collected from the sub-kelele of Bookkisa and dried at the Dambi Uddo station high up in the hills of Shakiso. Ture is well known for producing stunningly clean naturals, and this year we're tasting soft blueberries and jammy strawberries, elegant jasmine florals and the creamiest of creamy mouthfeels.

BOOKKISA - ETHIOPIA

All of the cherry that is delivered to Dambi Uddo is fully organic. The cherry is separated by sub-kebele upon delivery. This lot is from the Bookkisa sub-kebele within the Swana kebele. Meticulously dried in very thin layers for 15 to 20 days, this is a perfect example of a clean and vibrant Ethiopian natural.
